Leadership Transition Marks a New Chapter for SIGTTO

SIGTTO is delighted to announce the appointment of its new President and Vice President. At the Autumn Board Meeting in November, and confirmed by the Annual General Meeting, Carl Henrickson (Shell) was elected President and Jeroen Deelen (Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement) as Vice President. Both bring exceptional experience across the gas shipping sector, and their leadership will help drive the Society’s technical, safety, and environmental priorities forward.

Jeroen Deelen is Chief Operating Officer at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) and has extensive exposure to the transportation of liquefied gases, having been involved in over many years in safe operations. He gained experience through work on a broad range of projects in gas carrier technologies and offshore energy solutions. Under his guidance, the Society approved a revised strategy, strengthened the Secretariat, and reinforced its role in advancing safety and environmental performance across the gas shipping and terminal industry.

As we look ahead, SIGTTO remains focused on delivering this strategy and continuing its mission under the direction of the new leadership team.
